The Emergency Medicine Degree Program is designed to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills for practicing pre-hospital emergency, providing care to individuals with injuries, and working as a member of the healthcare team.
The Preparatory Year of the Medical Emergency Program includes teaching English, the basic scientific syllabus, and the preparatory academic courses. The following three years are devoted to the basic syllabus program requirements, in addition to the necessary knowledge, skills and values which include: patient assessment, first-aid and pre-hospital emergency care, women and childbirth emergencies, elderly emergency, advanced treatment of the respiratory tract, heart emergencies, pediatric first-aid, and crisis management. After completion of the program’s duration, each student must spend 48 weeks in professional practice within a pre-hospital emergency setting, as well as in a hospital setting.
Al-Ghad International Colleges for Applied Medical Sciences have been granted accreditation by international accreditation and recognition organizations to become one of the health educational institutions qualified to offer training courses in Emergency Medicine.

Male and female students’ training is considered an essential pillar for Al-Ghad International College for Applied Medical Sciences’ standards in the achievement and completion of the educational, training and academic process. Training ensures to qualify our male and female students to reach the right employment opportunity, as well as helps in linking them to the labor market. Training is performed under the supervision of specialists in this field. Moreover, partnership agreements are concluded with hospitals and health centers.
Accordingly, a specialized unit has been established in each college for the purpose of supervising the students’ training.
