The Semester average is the result of dividing the student’s total grade points by the total number of credit hours for all the courses studied in any semester i.e. (total grade points ¸ number of credit hours)

The GPA is the result of dividing the total grade points earned in all courses studied since the student’s enrollment at the college by the total number of credit hours for those courses.

 

GPA = (total grade points for the 1st semester + total grade points for the 2nd semester) ¸ (total number of credit hours for the 1st semester + total number of credit hours for the 2nd semester).

Maximum limit: It is the number of credit hours which may be registered by the student per semester in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations. The maximum limit is 20 credit hours for a regular student and 24 credit hours for a potential graduate.

 

Minimum Limit: It is the least number of credit hours which may be registered by the student per semester in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations. The minimum limit is 12 credit hours.

Postponement of study is carried out upon the student’s request by filling-in a designated form and shall be subject to the approval of the bodies stated in the form. The period of postponement is the period for deletion and addition stipulated in the Academic Calendar.

Transfer from one specialty to the other is made through filling-in the designated form and securing the signature of the bodies stated in the form. The conditions announced by the College for specialty modification shall apply.

Yes, there are admissions for the second semester.

Yes, university fees may be installed throughout each semester, provided that all instalments must be completely paid by the end of the semester.

Grade points are the product of the number of credit hours of the course by the weight earned.
